I’m wearing Yves Saint Laurent’s LA LAQUE COUTURE Nail Lacquer in 5 “Corail Divin” which Sephora describes as “simply coral” and nails inc Special Effects Sprinkles Nail Polish in Topping Lane, a “pink with cerise, silver and purple sprinkles” nail polish.

Review of Corail Divin
What it is: A highly pigmented nail lacquer to suit your every mood.
What it does:Created by Yves Saint Laurent’s International Creative Director of Beauty, Lloyd Simmonds, this concentrated nail color remains intense with shine and hold for at least four days. Enriched with chil rose bush oil to strengthen and protect nails, the formula has a quick drying time and comes with a new custom-made brush that allows an easy and fast application. The nail lacquer perfectly adheres to the brush that pulls the drop instead of pushing it for a flawless and intense result.

My Review
This is my 2nd YSL. My first one is Rose Renaissance. I like Rose Renaissance better.
This nail polish is GORGEOUS, and LONG LASTING. YSL beats both Dior and Chanel in terms of how long lasting it is. The brush is very similar to Chanel but YSL is extremely chip resistant, long wearing and fast-drying. I only used 1.5 coats, since the color is very pigmented. The color also has a very gloss. With all that said, YSL is pricey, but I think they’re worth it.

Review of Special Effects Sprinkles: Topping Lane
What it is:An innovative nail formula that imparts a cupcake-topping effect.
What it does: With just one product, this polish delivers a unique sprinkle effect. The glitter particles are mattified to give you the perfect amount of sparkle. Available in multiple pastel shades, each is named after the most delicious streets in London.

My Review
This nail polish is just as sparkly as your average glitter polish – not mattified as in the description. I don’t like it with this YSL shade, maybe this nail polish will work better with more pinkish nail polish. The bottle gives the impression than there is a roughly equal amount of blue and pink “sprinkles” when in reality, the blue seems to dominate a bit. It finished look definitely does look like cupcakes.
