Taking the Plunge!

I have decided to take the crazy plunge of transferring my website from blogger to wordpress. I originally wanted to be on wordpress due to the extra customizations such as the ability to add a poll to every post (you can do that on blogger but it takes a super long time). I also wasn’t sure if I wanted to be a beauty & girly lifestyle blogger. You see, blogger.com apart from the custom domain which I bought separately is free, wordpress.org is not. To use wordpress.org, you need both your own domain and hosting. This adds up to a few hundred dollars if you choose a 2 or 3 year plan (yikes!). My fear of spending too much money made me to the blogger route. A year into the site, I felt my site needed more. I needed polls, faster loading times, a more professional look and attitude to the site readers. So here, I am on wordpress! I am still learning the ropes of plugins (so many plugins), and how to alter appearances. Please excuse the apparent “construction” that you might see on this site.
