Sephora: Formula X Press Pods looks cool on the website right? that is until you meet the press pods in person.

oh look so pretty right! But for $39 for 24 shades? um, I don’t know…

they are very tiny! But I don’t know should I give it a chance?

 

 

The answer is… NO

 

Why?

 

1. They are SUPER TINY.

oh my is it tiny!

 

2. The press pods are one time use ONLY. and they are not re-sealable.

There is enough polish to do three coats, you just have to do it very quickly as the polish dries super quick. Any nail polish left over has to be trashed, unless you did such a good job that you can use the rest on your toes.

 

3. They are not easy to use.

Instructions: So you pull the key top off, mess the bristles up a bit to spread them out (and they are stiff too) then squeeze and apply. but be careful because I squirted it everywhere once and it can be super thick a few times. So yes in theory a good idea BUT it needs some major adjustments!!

 

Overall, I think it’s a good way to test out colors. Purchase one, test it out, and then buy the whole size if you like it. But that’s why I think they should be sold individually. And improved.
