Sephora by OPI has been discontinued so be sure to grab all the colors while you still can (the entire nail polish brand has been replaced by Sephora X. Sephora reps have also talked about replacing or discontinuing their relationships which other brands featured on the Sephora site & stores. Other brands that Sephora feature include nails inc, Julep, Ciate, & Butter London. At time of writing, Sephora has not indicating which other nail polish brands Sephora will be discontinuing selling as well).

All photos taken were after two days, so some noticeable scratches are evident on my nails.

Sephora by OPI: BYO Boy (Bring Your Own Boy) is a opaque spicy rose brown. You need about 1.5 coats to make it completely opaque, as 1 coat is still about 10% sheer.

I really like this shade but it can be a little chippy if a top coat is not applied. For some reason, when you use 1 coat, its extremely chippy and you will have chips the very next day, BUT if you use 2 coats, the almost-guaranteed chips are eliminated. This must be something in the formula.

Another thing that I found that is peculiar in this formula in that depending if you take flash photography or not, the color will change depending on lighting & setting. For example, if you take a photo with no flash, the color will resemble like the stock photos. Taking photos with flash? out in the bright sun at a beach? The shade is NOT like the stock photo under those settings. It will come out slightly pinker, as evident in my photo (BOTH Bottle and Nails will get “pinker” with flash).

This color is perfect for Fall or with Autumn-related attire.
