My Julep Maven Boho Glam Box is here! Usually the Maven boxes are black with the Julep logo, but this box was prettier since it was a special box for their 2 year Anniversary.

Initial Impressions
- Nail polishes are MUCH darker than the original promo! We shall see how they look on my fingers
- Doublestep is reasonably sized and smells nicely. Will be great before and after a night out.
- The Forget-me-not seeds are a cute idea, but most people will not have the patience or the soil to grow them. The packet indicates that they are good for both indoor & outdoor planting:
- Sprinkle seeds over soil, leaving about 5 inches between each seed.
- Cover seeds with a thin layer of soil.
- Keep soil damp.
- If planting indoors, place flower pot in a window where seeds can enjoy shade and sun.
Previous monthly boxes had a box of oil blotting green tea tissues, laffy taffys, etc. I think I like it best when the little extra is beauty-related such as the box of tissues! For those who are not Julep Mavens, Julep Maven is a monthly subscription based service. You can skip any month you like and decide between 4 styles (Boho Glam, Classic with a Twist, Bombshell, It Girl, and American Beauty) though a quiz will give you a default style. Each box is $19.99 and you can skip any month. Some months are better than others, and August’s theme was the Garden Party Collection. Only It girl boxes contain exclusively nail polishes (you receive 3), the other boxes usually contain 1 beauty-related item. American Beauty is usually just beauty-related items and do not contain nail polishes.
