Julep has recently updated their shipping and delivery policy to include the following:
Julep orders have the option to be shipped Standard, Expedited, 2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air. Julep offers free shipping to all Mavens. Once you are a Maven, just choose shipping option “Free 5-10 business days” at checkout to ensure you get your orders shipped free of charge. All free shipping orders are shipped DHL.
Shipping time has increased from 4-6 business days to 5-10 business days, which is a huge negative when Sephora sells Julep and offers free 3-day shipping.
All Julep shipment emails will contain the USPS tracking number. Unfortunately USPS only receives your order on the last leg of the trip as DHL ships your item to a USPS facility and USPS does the final delivery. So for most of the trip (and your tracking), you will be left in the dark over where exactly is your package.
If you’re tracking number says “Arrived Shipping Partner Facility”, we found a trick! Enter the same tracking number at http://webtrack.dhlglobalmail.com/ and DHL will tell you where it is!
the packages that I was worry about are now on the East Coast so hopefully they should come soon, as with everybody!
This will hopefully give us a bit of breathing room, I know I fret when days have passed and I have no idea where my package is (and worse, the tracking number hasn’t updated in days). You can upgrade your shipping to Expedited which is a 2-4 business days service $5.99 (as well as 1 business day service for $19.99). Apparently all orders are shipped from their fulfillment centers in Seattle, WA and Glassboro, New Jersey but all of my orders have shipped from Seattle and I have yet to encounter a user who’s orders have shipped from New Jersey. So when items from New Jersey start shipping, it should help with those living in the east coast. Though I’m pretty sure New Jersey mavens will be hit with sales tax, which currently they are not charge of as a result of the fulfillment center
